Web App ESS: Quick Start

Quick Start

If you are new to the Workloud Web App, you can use this article as a basic guideline to start.

Log In

1) Access your Workloud Account at app.workloud.com

2) Use your personal Login information.

3) If you have forgotten your Login information, use the Forgot Password function to get an email send to you with the necessary information.

Employee Calendar

1) Click on the Scheduling icon from the navigation menu, then select Employee Calendar option in the Schedule section.

Note: Your Employer might have already set this page to be your homepage.

2) The Calendar view can be changed by using the Day, Week or Month button in the upper right corner of the Calendar window.

3) The Legend is located at the right side and indicates the colors of fields within the Employee Schedule.

Note: Colors may vary due to Employers preferences.

4) To see more information of an assignment, simply click on the assignment, then click on More Information.

Time Off Requests

1) Click on the Scheduling icon from the navigation menu, then select Employee Calendar option in the Schedule section.

2) To Request Time Off, click on the desired day.

3) Select Request Leave.

4) Use the top boxes, within the pop-up, to adjust the time frame of the Request.

5) From the Leave Type drop-down, select the desired Leave.

Note: The Leave Type selection will differ from Employer to Employer.

6) Press the Save button.

7) The request is now sent to your scheduler for approval.

 

Messages

1) To see Messages send to you by your Employer, or to send your Employer Messages, select the envelope icon in the right top of the screen.

2) A small pop-up will show and give the options to view the most recent Messages or all.

3) To view a Message in the Message Management window, press the View button next to the desired Message.

4) Use the buttons on the right side of the screen to mark your messages accordingly or to send a reply.

5) To send a new Message, press the New button on the right side.

Log Out

1) Click on the user icon, located in the top right corner.

Help

1) To receive help within Workloud, Press the in the right top corner.

2) This will open a new tab with the Workloud Support page.  On this page you will be able to...

  1. "Submit a request" which opens up a Support Ticket.
  2. "Search" our library of articles to find the answer you are looking for.
  3. Browse through our Knowledge Base Articles, Workshops and the Workloud Community for the answer to your question.

 

Chat or Leave a Message

1) Another way to receive help within Workloud is to chat with us or leave a message for a Workloud Support Agent.  To do this, click on the chat_icon_2.png Icon and a pop-up will appear in the lower right corner of the screen.

2) Type in your topic and a list of the top Knowledge Base Article results will show up, if they do not answer your question, you can click on "Live Chat."

3) Here, you will enter your name, email address, phone number (optional), your message to us, and finally decide if you would like to chat live, or just leave a message.  Either way, a support ticket will open up so we can track that your issue is satisfactorily resolved.
